At Discovery Dental, we take pride in being more than just a dental practice; we are a family-oriented, patient-centric team devoted to your oral health and overall well-being. Founded by Dr. Anh Nguyen, a dedicated dentist with a passion for transforming smiles, our practice has been a cornerstone of oral care in Katy, Texas since 2005.
Dr. Nguyen's journey began in Vietnam and eventually led him to the United States, where he pursued his dream of becoming a dentist. After graduating from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Cosmetic Degree, he settled in Houston, Texas. With experience gained in various dental offices, he decided to establish his own practice.
Our commitment to family values and personalized care sets us apart. As a loving husband and father himself, Dr. Nguyen treats every patient as an extension of his own family. We have had the privilege of serving our community for years, with some patients visiting us since they were infants and now bringing their own children to experience our care.

I’ve been coming here about three years now maybe four. I appreciate the staff and the customer service, Dr.Nguyen is awesome he actually sees you and does the work, most places have dental assistant that does the work. This I believe makes it a more personable experience, he will talk with you and explain any treatments and give you advice and or recommendations. When my family and I moved to katy I was still taking my kids to sugar land because they were going to that particular dentist since they were babies. I have now switched them to here as well. I’ve recently moved and I this is about a good 42 min drive from me I pass so many dental office, but I come here for the service and little wait time.

I came in as a walk in because I am in so much pain and the front desk lady(sorry I didn't get your name) but she's the only one there today. A very nice Hispanic lady working on a Saturday 9/27/25. She was very helpful and understood my pain. They normally dont accept walk ins but she saw how swollen my face is. The xray lady was very gentle and kind as well. Then the doctor! He's very sympathetic as well. They cant really do much because of the swelling but the pain meds he prescribed and antibiotic is helping me out! Thanks discovery dental!
